While taking a dreary Saturday evening fall walk along Lake Erie, the sun made a surprise appearance and put on quite a show! The mixed media original was digitally sketched and under painted, then finished on a 24" x 18" canvas. The colors are stunning as the ochre and green grass compliment the ribbon colored purple, orange, yellow and pink sky. The reference photo was taken on the shores of Lake Erie by Sharon in January of 2021.
